The now silly mistakes made by Nigerian when buying cars feels like it’s going up trend, that means a lot of people are planning to commit the same mistake.
While I spend time with happy and sad car buyers I heard almost the same mistakes. That made water almost drop from my eyes.
And we will be looking at each other one of the mistakes at time.

Trusting Too Much
Some people made silly mistakes and end up buying a bad car they saved so hard for. Just because the saw a car picture, trust the seller so much and even pay before seeing it real.
Buying a bad car is painful but a lot of Nigerians still fall victim of that, they trust a dealer so much and they finish everything online. But this is business you don’t trust anyone with money just like that right?
Some people pay for a car right over the phone just by seeing a picture or having the dealer gist them about it. They say I heard people give the seller good recommendation on the commend section, so you mean you don’t know that sometimes they are the ones telling people to write those things?
Not physically seeing a car before purchase can lead to sad ending when you find out the car has serious issues or is not what you signed up for.
Going For Cheap Deals
They want the car and they will do their best to call all the car stands to confirm prices of cars then choose to for a very cheap one.
Or even go for the car the dealer told them is distress sale hoping it’s their opportunity to pay less yet have a nice car. They may have the nice car but regret buying it at the first o
Not Knowing About The Car
Some people know little or nothing about the car they want to buy,
they wake up and walk into car stand look at any beautiful car, ask for the price pay and have it.
Not knowing about the car you want to buy is bad, because anyone may take advantage of you. Don’t do that mistake now that lawrencegotkeys tells you.
Allowing Friends To Decide
Just because your friend knows how to price and buy fresh tomatoes does not mean that you should put him in charge of deciding the car you should buy.
The moment you allow yourself to be in position where a friend would have to decide for you, it won’t be funny when you realize how things may go wrong especially in choosing a car.
Allow your instinct to decide your friend may be good in choosing the right bread in hall mark or give you important ideas that’s different. This is car buying, know what you personally want. Insist till you get it.
Rushing Every Deal
When Nigerian heard someone mention distress sale, or find out the car is cheap, they’d rush the deal, they want it and want it badly.
The have the fear of missing out and could go as far borrowing money to complete payment of the car. You should not rush any deal. I beg you.

Believing What They Are Told
If you are familiar with business and marketing you will agree with me that there’s no one who doesn’t want to sell.
So you can’t believe 100%, in God we trust but you have to verify things well. Someone over complimenting a car and calling clean doesn’t mean you should believe that and fall into believing what they told you. Has Judas not betrayed Jesus with a complimentary kiss?
A good car should speak for itself. Beside I’m personally not a hype fan. The more someone convinces me to buy something the faster I’d loose interest.
Never believe what someone tells you, especially in getting a car confirm what you are actually looking for yourself and decide within you if that’s okay by you.
